Utah Alarm Monitoring

 Utah Alarm Monitoring

Myth: All Utah alarm monitoring is the same, it doesn’t really matter who you go through.

Answer: That’s a common mistake.  Alarm monitoring is as different as a donkey and an elephant.  Who you choose for your alarm monitoring can have lasting effects on how effective your alarm is,  how much you actually use your alarm, and how much your alarm is going to cost you, among other things.  Our Utah alarm monitoring is custom engineered to outperform the traditional standard.

What are the differences?

Well, to start, your alarm is capable of sending many different types of signals to the alarm monitoring central station – only one of which is an actual alarm signal.  Other types of signals your alarm can send include:

  • Openings / Closings – Signals indicating that the alarm has been armed or disarmed, and by who.
  • Troubles – Such as low batteries, phone line problems, trouble with peripheral devices, etc.
  • Tampers – Signals indicating that someone is “tampering” with a device on your alarm, or attempting to jam the signals.
  • Daily Test – A system “Self Check” signal which is sent to tell your alarm company that your alarm is alive and well.
  • Restores -A signal sent in when a sensor is returned to normal.  Such as a door being closed, after it was opened.
  • Alarms – Of course, the actual alarm signals when someone has broken into your property, or for a fire, gas leak, water leak, etc.
  • False Alarm Reduction – By accepting all signals possible, our trained operators are able to paint a better, more accurate picture of what is happening with your alarm.  By doing so, they are able to advise you in dispatch actions which significantly reduce false alarms and reduce or eliminate false alarms fees from your city.  Let’s all work to reduce false alarms!

Most alarm companies, especially the national ones, do not include any signals in your alarm monitoring package except for the “Alarm” signals, and maybe a 30-day test signal.  They will provide the other signal services, but for a premium price for each signal.  Click Here to view a price comparison.

The Vantage Voltage Difference:

At Vantage Voltage, we include ALL of the above signal types in our Utah alarm monitoring package for one flat, low price.  We do not ‘nickel and dime’ you!  Our Utah Alarm Monitoring is setting the standard!

By programming your alarm to take advantage of all of these extra signal types, we are able have an overall picture of your alarm system’s health and status.  This way, if a problem develops, we will be aware of it and can immediately take action with you to ensure that your level of protection remains uninterrupted.

We have countless stories from customers who came to us from another alarm company, who had their alarm system go down, and the other company never even knew it wasn’t working!  Can you imagine going months with a problem on your alarm before anyone even realized it wasn’t working as it should?  We can’t!  That’s why we keep our finger on the pulse of all our subscribers’ alarms, and when a problem arises, we act!
